Featured! Extreme Yellow

Great pears, SUPER yellow! The photos provided to me do not convey this properly, they are much more yellow to the naked eye. I didn't want to stick foils on the fog light assembly - my goal was to keep the natural look of the lenses but have a bright yellow color when switched on. Mission accomplished. I will post any updates how long they will last. Tip: Use latex gloves when installing, oil/dirt/soot from your hands can damage the lamps once they are on.

May be too yellow for some but still looks fantastic on my IS350

As the owner of the IS300, I got used to the yellow fog lights and I really liked them. So when I switched to the newer IS350 I really missed the look. So I took these Optilux bulbs and threw them away thinking I would get the look I was looking for. I did about 90% of the way. They might be too yellow, almost orange, but for the most part they look pretty good. Definitely better than the regular halogen bulb which tries to match the HID Xenon bulbs I have but fails. It's a big contrast so Iโ€ฆ

Took just over 3 years and delivers a rich dark yellow color.

Purchased October 2015 and one of the bulbs blew out December 2018. More than three years is much better than I expected. Bought another pair today, let's see how long it lasts. Light output is good and the yellow is a deep rich colour. I always use them when it's raining, snowing, foggy or cloudy. Remember that fog lights are not designed to illuminate the road for you, they are designed to make your car visible to other drivers. They offer a great contrast to halogen or xenon headlights toโ€ฆ

Same part number, different color bulbs

I have a second set of bulbs. I use them in 2004 Matrix fog lights. The life expectancy of these bulbs is not great, so I will use a second set in two years. The first set had a blown bulb so I bought a second set (thought I had a spare bulb). The problem is that even when ordering the same part number, the color of the bulbs were different. The first set was more yellow than the second set so I had to replace both bulbs. Now 6 months later the bulb in the second set has blown so I'm left withโ€ฆ

Good low beam bulbs

Good for brighter low beam. And less white glare for oncoming traffic as it's a slightly amber, more natural color. heat, I also turn on the headlights during the day). Still a great lamp because of the color and performance. The lamp itself is great for what I want. I have a problem with the shipping method which is still a big problem. The shipping packaging sucks and anyone who ever chooses to ship GLASSWARE via bubble wrap is a complete idiot. Revain no longer lists the original fulfillment

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other bulbs

These low beam bulbs fit the headlights on my 1995 Toyota Camry

These bulbs fit the headlights on my 1995 Toyota Camry. The plastic bag it was in had to be cut open. Installation was easy as I watched a YouTube video showing how to replace the old one and install the new one. Simply place your hand on the headlight and twist it one way to pull out the old bulb and the opposite way to insert the new bulb. I was amazed at how easy it was to change the light since it was my first time. I don't know why I used to pay someone $20 to install a lightbulb when itโ€ฆ

Yes they are yellow

UPDATE 07/06/16 - Less than 4 months have passed since purchase and one of the bulbs has blown. The thread inside has melted. the bulb is dead. Both have been replaced by Xtravision Sylvania and the yellow film will go the light-body route. I record my mileage and driving hours. They lasted 200 hours = about 100 hours less than the Silverstars! I'll apply for a guarantee and see what they say. IMHO it's not worth it. UPDATE in 20 minutes - Optilux XYs are expressly excluded from the Hellaโ€ฆ

Does the job BUT. for light bulbs

nothing to complain about for the price. This is a set of light bulbs for $15. While everyone else in the industry focuses on halogen, HID or LED bulbs, it's good to have an incandescent bulb. Some cars are simply wired to ONLY work with a set of such bulbs and not LEDs or HIDs - mainly due to the way the vehicle reduces/halved/pulse modulated power in the form of "Daytime Running Lights" to the bulbs sends. I've had many non-brand or imported bulbs like this over the years and they seem to beโ€ฆ

I got a great deal on these beautiful yellow bulbs

They were surprisingly available for $5 so I pulled the trigger in search of these 9006 for my 2011 Subaru Forester. Received it in the mail and found the clear plastic cover was cracked (not described in the sale) but the product was not damaged or compromised. That was the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Shipping was actually an extra $0.38 ($5.38), but I checked again a few days later and the original price was back, so it was a good deal to me. These lights are similar to their H3 counter.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
