I received this excellent vacuum cleaner 2 days early which was a pleasant surprise. I chose Orek after trying it at my sister's house. OMG what a revelation! This 8-pound vacuum replaces the 22-pound beast. Such a lightweight and lightweight vacuum cleaner makes cleaning easy and convenient for a quick clean. My last vacuum (Shark) just died and before that my big dark purple (overpriced) Dyson vacuum wasn't that good. My sister suggested Orek and decided it couldn't be worse than Shark. To my surprise it was fantastic. Very light weight (8 pounds), just what I needed (arthritis) and recommended by the Arthritis Foundation. It's really uplifting; and cleans very well. Let me start by saying that when I first started shopping for a quality vacuum cleaner I was already tempted to buy an Oreck. My mom had one 20 years ago. THE ONE came with a lifetime warranty and was very easy to use. Well, to my delight when trying to find the best vacuum cleaner, Nuts always comes out on top. Why am I giving this vacuum cleaner 2 stars? THIS vacuum is not my mother's Oreka vacuum. This was such a big disappointment to me for a number of reasons: 1) It comes with an extension
