🧹 Oreck Elevate Conquer: High-Performance Grey Bagged Upright Vacuum with 2-Speed Control, HEPA Filtration, Lightweight Design, and 35ft Power Cord - UK30300 Review

Everything about this vacuum is great except cleaning the edges is unacceptable, the cord holder has to be twisted to release the cord (but that it doesn't) and it can't clean under beds, although its design should otherwise.

I love Oreck vacuum cleaners, I've had several. The only downside is that the cable has to be unwound by hand. The top hook that holds the cord doesn't twist or turn, so you have to unwrap it by hand. In my opinion, this is a major shortcoming. Picks up dirt well, otherwise it's the usual Oreck quality.

We always had an Oreck, so I decided to invest in a rather expensive model. I was disappointed with the attachment that keeps it upright for storage, very difficult to use and fairly cheap. It doesn't have the suction power of our other models but is easy to control as it moves almost by itself. Not quite what I expected but good.

This is my second Oreck vacuum cleaner. Overall, I think Oreck vacuum cleaners are very good at cleaning. One of the nice features is the weight. Oreck machines are lightweight and easy to carry up and down stairs. The pivoting handlebar is a great innovation that makes cleaning furniture a lot easier. HEPA filter bags do a great job of keeping everything in and out of the vacuum.

This vacuum has excellent suction but is not as light as I expected and is quite difficult to manoeuvre. There is no option to connect the cable between uses, which is very strange for such an expensive vacuum. The most disappointing thing is that it cannot be used on floor mats, it completely corrodes them even on the lowest setting. Now I have to buy an extra vacuum cleaner to use on our carpets. This may work well on carpet, but we've all wood, tile, and carpet. Paying more does not…

We have had the Oreck Elevate Conquer for a few months now. This is our first Oreck vacuum cleaner. God what a great vacuum cleaner. It is very easy to use, light weight and has great suction power. I especially like being able to quickly switch from hardwood/tile to carpet with just a switch on my thumb to change suction power. I'll leave the final decision after receiving a replacement for the defective unit originally received and will update this review in a timely manner if warranted. It's hard to tell from the photos, but after assembling the vacuum cleaner (the handle and split shaft need to be placed on the other end of the shaft attached to the base of the unit; they are initially separate), the handle on this unit is bent and shows to the left, not straight ahead like the case and the rest of the device.
