Oreck Genuine Replacement Upright Vacuum Review

Strap not as advertised. We advertised them to fit all Oreck XL stands but they were about 2 inches shorter than the ones I needed and despite being so cheap I still had no intention of returning them, I have felt like I should have had that option. They ended up in the trash

Fake or Generic! The product is NOT "Genuine Oreck" as shown in the picture and the description is misleading. This item must not have the word "Original" in its description, nor must it have a picture of a genuine Oreck belt as is. See the resulting product is thinner and cheaper. You know the wonder, they recommend a replacement every 3 months!

Whilst they appear to be of good quality the description and pictures show that these are genuine Oreck belts. You are not. I don't know how this practice is continued by this seller. The quality may be comparable, but only time will tell. At least they have a low price. Had they known the price they would not have been the one advertised. For now they will. Update: This is not good.

This is NOT from Oreck. This is a counterfeit brand. yes it is cheap Yes, it's easy to install, but I'm tired of sellers selling things they say are real but are NOT! It "fits" to oreck brand vacuum cleaners, but is NOT a complete replacement. It's a cheap Chinese belt that can't even write the label on the box correctly. Also, there is no mention of "California Warnings" on the label.

Shipped in 2 days. The straps seem very flexible, thick, and easy to install. Tip: Many OrecK XL installation videos show how to first put the belt on a thin (motor) shaft, then wrap the belt around the larger wheel and it will start spinning. In my case it was much easier for me to put the strap on the big wheel than on the small wheel. Very fast. Hope that helps.

We had an issue with our Oreck XL throwing the belt. Now that the vacuum is 15 years old I found that the motor and brushroll mounts were stretched a bit and this is the reason for the frequent belt problems. This happened so often that everyone in the house, including the dog, was able to put the old belt on in less than 5 minutes. The old strap broke every third use. I bought these two new belts and took the chance that they weren't fake. They may be, but in any case, after more than 30 uses,
