🧹 Optimized Oreck XL Upright Brush Roller Review

Looks better than what I got out of the vacuum. This one has a piece of metal that the strap is attached to. The old one doesn't.

I was afraid that for my Oreck I would have to buy a new brush for my Oreck at a much higher price. But this one looks just like the original for only $15. And it only took 3 minutes to install. Even my grandma was able to install this brush. I'm happy !

Easy to install, re-seating the belt is the biggest issue. My Orek XL rack was on its way to the junkyard as it was barely working. I decided to give it a second chance, replaced the pulley and belt. Now he works like a champ.

This replacement roller brush for certain Oreck XL posts is a good thing in itself. And Revain sells it for a bargain next to your local vacuum store, so they're probably going out of business soon. However, you need a Torx, Hex Torx screwdriver for this. I am 77.7 years old and I never knew such an animal existed. Torx screwdrivers seem to only be sold in sets, which means I have to drive my neighbor to the local hardware store, play the 'old man' card and hope they open the vacuum for me. Not
