It works, but not the greatest quality.

The directions were easy enough to put it together, but there were so many pieces! Plan to use a drill because you will be putting lots of screws in. Seems sturdy enough, but the drawer will need to be replaced. The front matches the outside material. But the inside is the weird cube cardboard covered in fabric. It will suffice for now, bit I do not see it lasting long term.

  • I was able to put this together with no issues. Easy installation, very strong.
Cons
  • The design may not accommodate multiple shoe styles or sizes, such as men's versus women's shoes

Great finished shoe rack but will take some time and effort to assemble.

There is no question that the finished outcome of this particular shoe rack is pretty great. It looks wonderful and it is very sturdy no question. Getting there will take some work however. You will be screwing in some 60 odd screws of various sizes and it would be helpful to have a powered screw driver. I also went ahead and used some Gorilla wood glue for the wooden dowel pins. This thing is not coming back apart. The instructions are decent, but you really need to look at them carefully…

Great for things other than shoes too!

I was quickly running out of room on my old CD shelf and wanted something good looking and compact. Most CD shelves aren't attractive or very compact as they're made for DVD/Blu-ray cases too. This shoe shelf is perfect for my needs, though.The texture of the "wood" is a little too "rustic" for my tastes, but fits in relatively well. Definitely better than a traditional CD shelf would.One thing I wanted to do was see if the drawer at the bottom could be removed because if it couldn't, the shelf

4.5 Star due to drawer quality

This is a very sturdy piece of furniture with a lot of storage for small spaces. I assembled it in about an hour with the ‘help’ of my 1.5 & 3yr old (don’t recommend). There are a lot of screws (making it very sturdy) and I definitely recommend using an electric screwdriver or drill. There are pilot holes pre drilled and everything lined up with still needed a good amount of muscle to put together and I ended up with a blister because I was using a standard screw driver. Great shoe rack! in my review

I’m relatively picky about items that I buy. I definitely as you can see you needed a shoe rack for my smaller closet. I don’t like the ones that have the slats and I don’t like the ones that have rungs or are plastic that you put together. Those look so cheap and they do not last. They fall apart as well. So to me it was worth it to buy one that has a more upscale look as well as looked to be a sturdier shoe rack. This one fit the bill. My husband put it together in about an hour and a half…

Rack it up!: my feedback

Perfect for small spaces for entryway. Some of the numbers were missing on the product so it was a bit confusing which was the correct one. Once that was figured out, it was very simple to assemble. Very sturdy and the drawer/storage was very convenient.

Well made!: my feedback

It took a bit of work to put this together, but the end result is very good. Nice details such as wood grain stickers to cover the (few) visible screw holes. Also, I added rolling casters to the bottom of this, in doing so, I realized you could use this piece upside-down (drawers at top).

The shoe rack fit perfect in our closet! Many shoes can fit on the rack and the 3 compartments on the bottom is the best. The quality of the shoe rack is terrific!
