Not the easiest device I've bought to install an M.2 SATA drive

It was a bit tricky to properly install the drive in this product as the instructions are sketchy and the parts hardly fit together. The case needs to be squeezed fairly tightly to install the side latches on one end. I think they should go back to the drawing board in that case.

Works as intended. SATA M+B key.

Quality parts. Additional screws. Includes (two M.2 stands - only one required) Easy installation. Just make sure you install a SATA M2 drive. It only has one key but works with M+B SATA M.2 keys. No SATA cables are included, but that wasn't expected. Installed, partitioned and formatted in 1/2 hour. Ideal. Wow, another TB of storage. Would definitely buy again.

Adapter to convert an m.2 SATA SSD to a regular 2.5 form factor SATA drive.

SATA m.2 SSD to 2.5" SATA SSD Conversion Adapter includes all screws and drivers (no software driver needed, just a real screwdriver) needed for operation. Works well, assembly is easy, but deducted a star because the drive was a bit dirty. That means it wasn't covered in dirt but had a few black spots that felt like vinyl. However, I was able to wipe it with alcohol and the functionality is flawless.

They worked well and looked good.

I ordered two of these adapters to recover data from Microsoft Surface Pro client tablets. After removal from a defective Surface Pro, the SSDs in these adapters worked perfectly. I had a problem with the screw holes in the cases. After the two halves are assembled, the screw holes on the end farthest from the SATA connection do not line up exactly. Considering how cheap they are, I'll probably buy a few more to keep on hand. All in all, they worked, looked good, and installed easily in aโ€ฆ

It is designed as a permanent solution.

Works perfectly. If you want to safely adapt an M.SATA or M2 SATA drive to an old laptop/PC, this is a good solution. I was looking for a way to quickly work with msata and m2 drives; cloning, restoring, etc. The cradles you use to repair a drive must be completely disassembled each time you want to mount a different drive. I might solder pads from a dead MB/Laptop to make it easier for me. Again, this just affects how I expected this item to be. If you want this to be a permanent solution, itโ€ฆ

So close in size

I bought the msata/m.2 SATA model to transfer data from an mSATA drive. For that he did a great job. Now for the bad. The instructions in the kit are tiny and in black and white, making them difficult to read. The instructions shown on this product page are for the m.2 model and the screw holes do not match. And that's the worst. screws. There are about 4 or 5 different types of screws and they are all slightly different sizes so I probably used the wrong screws on the wrong part. Are the 4โ€ฆ
