I bought this product to replace a 4 plug device that failed after 5 years of use. I connected my devices to it and then to the computer and none of the devices worked. It didn't power the devices at all, but it worked fine. I had to return it as it was unnecessary. It did not work.

I'm not getting the advertised speed, it's connected to 3.0 and my USB 3.0 drives are slow, I won't measure the speed but if I do mine plug usb stick directly into the same port on my computer so transferring a 20gb file takes 7x less time than plugging into this hub. Not worth it, especially if you have 2-3 drives trying to transfer multiple files, it will be even slower.

If the finish was flawless it would match my Mac, but the finish had manufacturing defects that spoiled the effect. Also, the "Oriko" logo is large and doesn't rub off with alcohol (I'd give an extra star if the logo was unobtrusive or removable). I actually need several data hubs, but I'll try another company and throw that in my travel bag.

I thought hey this might be a great solution for keeping ports handy without adding ugly clunky tech to my limited desktop. I was absolutely right - it does exactly what I wanted and looks very nice except for the fact that I leave the wires sticking out. so less pleasant than he might be. I guess it doesn't require any additional power, although of course that doesn't work on every device. I have found that I can charge most things anyway.

I've tried two of the 4-port models on a brand new MacBook Air and iPhone etc (using a USB-C to USB-A cable, not included contain). Not understood so far, it's the USB-C connector he doesn't like. The device works as advertised, but if you're plugging it into a USB-C port, you'll probably need something else. While this didn't work for me, it could work very well for your application and looks pretty slick. Apologies for the bad review, but I'm sorry I didn't see a review that made it clear not

My laptop only has 2 USB ports and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but I need more because I work with audio devices and save things. I was a bit nervous as reviews were mixed as to whether they could use Bluetooth devices connected to it, but my Logitech keyboard and Jedel mouse work with this device so it may vary by brand. Like the color and shape. The handles on the bottom keep it from slipping, but it's also easy to move around when you need to. Overall love it.

The main reason I bought this USB 3.0 hub was to connect some external hard drives and some accessories to free up the USB ports on my computer. Most of the time this worked fine, but I kept having issues with my hard drives and eventually moved to a new drive connected to a hub. I replaced what I thought was a failed old hard drive with a brand new drive, exactly the same as the one I'm currently using (I needed a separate drive for Time Machine backups). Wow, I soon figured out the problem…
