This beginner’s origami crafting kit is fantastic! Based on my observations, it's perfect for anyone who wants to get into arts and crafts. The kit comes with a variety of colorful paper and step-by-step instructions, making it easy to follow along. One con: it's a bit small, but otherwise, it's an excellent gift for aspiring origami artists!

I have read several books on origami by John Montroll and he illustrates and explains his instructions well. This book contains 35 animals of varying difficulty. It is thoughtfully laid out as you start with simple folds and progress to more complex folds. The colored illustrations are great. The timing of these books is perfect for Christmas gifts as well as family fun during quarantine. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I love this book, it contains oragami projects ranging from simple to complex. I found the system used for fold directions confusing and would benefit from a little more detail on folds. But otherwise a fantastic book. I would say that it is not written for beginners but is geared more towards intermediate to advanced origami artists.
