🚲 Origin8 MX Urban Mini MTB Handlebar - 25.4mm x 600mm x 75mm Review

Light enough to fit lights and phones in the middle of the bridge. This model is quite short, so you may need small knobs, especially for the grip switches.

Works and looks great. Lightweight aluminum with nice clean welds. Gave my SE the upright riding position and BMX flavor I was looking for. Origin8 does great things.

They had a bit more play than any previous BMX bars I have fitted to my fixie but once I got used to them I fell in love with these bars. The build quality and welds are much better than any similar bar I've seen at this price point.

I knew this bar was narrow, but I didn't realize how small the grip area was. It's a well built, nice looking piece, but I ended up having to replace the shifter and brake lever with a combination block to mount them near the grips. If the grip area were about 1.5 cm longer (which it could be), this wouldn't be necessary.

The handlebars that came with the bike were too low and too wide. It lifted her up a bit. I find the width almost perfect. The handlebars feel strong enough to handle my 90kg frame. The bars look good on my bike IMO. No complaints. to Origin8. I think I would like to go a little bit higher. If you made a 100mm variant of this handlebar I would probably buy it if there was an option.

This handlebar has just enough height to offer some comfort, long enough handle for derailleur (Shimano Indexed Thumb derailleur), brake and grip. Accessories are on the top bar - in my case, lights (several) for night riding and a phone mount. A bike enthusiast mounted headlights, a phone, a HALT and a few other items on it. It's good design and aesthetically workable at a reasonable price.
