I have a spring operated garage door that is always difficult to open when I am bringing things inside. It clings to the metal door frame, attaches quickly with one hand, and removes quickly when finished. By attaching it to the door jamb, it won't get lost.

I'm a truck driver and I deliver heavy items that take a toll on my hands. I don't always have someone to help me with the doors, so it's very handy. Easy to put on and take off. Please note that the hinge must be of a type that it can hang on, you may not be able to use it on some doors, but this is not usually the case.

I have a swing door to the terrace. A fall from the floor of the house to the porch floor is enough to fail any conventional doorstop. This thing really helps even in strong winds.
