I've been having trouble with the drain valve on my InstaPot that I use all the time. I had to make a few adjustments to seal it. It just clicked into place and works great without any adjustments. So happy I ordered it.

I've had many issues with the original that came with the Instant Pot, including it fading out simply because it never fitted. Not only is this new one stronger, heavier, prettier and fits better, it works a lot better too. Very happy with this purchase.

Doesn't work like the original. I have to hold it in place or wiggle it in the right place to make it stay. Still in flow. I have to order another one and throw this one away. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because sometimes I can make up for it.

This valve snaps on easily and works within a minute. It comes with an additional silicone element that confused me at first; This is for the bottom of the float valve in case you need it, but is not directly related to the vapor release valve. This is included as a courtesy as people sometimes lose both parts at once.

Had to order this one because I welded the last one I had! LAUGH OUT LOUD! I left it in the IP pot and turned on the heater without looking inside. It burned in the pan (thank goodness it was easily removed with a Brillo sponge). I've learned my lesson; Never put the steam valve in the pan! This is perfect for the pot IP Mini Duo.

I accidentally forgot my original IP relief valve fell in the dishwasher and melted. This mostly fits, but there is a problem with pressure loss throughout the cooking time. I thought it was the aftermarket kite's vapor withdrawal, but no, it's still leaking. I can't complain this is a good price. However, note that it is not perfect and will seal like the original valve even though it claims to be 'genuine'.

According to the description on the website this is to be a replacement exhaust valve for my original DUO SV 60 model but when I receive it the exhaust valve is smaller than the original. My original valve also uses a different steel cocking mechanism. I don't mind using a plastic ring as a replacement as it can be more durable than the original.
