so far so good at electronic music, djing and karaoke

thought of taking up an old hobby again and after some research i bought these needles. As long as they do their job!. Once you have calibrated your arm and the anti-skating mechanism on your turntable they will work fine!

Pros
  • record player
Cons
  • negative gift

Worth every penny! for electronic music, DJs and karaoke

For those who have searched the internet and read all sorts of reviews, like me. Let me just say I'm very glad I bought them. I was initially nervous about all the options and opinions but to be honest these needles are amazing.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • Expensive

Looks and sounds great on my setup.

Sounded warm and punchy, good weight for them, I installed them below the 3 gram spec as not only do I scratch the back cue and they stick like glue! The only problem I have found is what most say. If you notice your left or right channel isn't playing, loosen the needle and put the swap back in if you have two turntables (like I had to). After that it's one and done. Recommended!

  • Musical Instruments

Movable magnets. We have it.

Greatly improved design and amazing sound clarity. Robust housing. The lift arm is stronger, wider and interchangeable. Ideal for hits, cuts, scratches. Or just to listen to your favorite songs on vinyl. You need to pay attention to the geometry of your turntable ie (height, anti-skating and counterweight) to get these needles into the groove and keep them. there while you work on your ideas. Using a pair of OG Technics 1200's I set /Height=0 - Anti-SKT=1.2 - CNTR-WT=2.2 inverted with CW…

Pros
  • Fits all DJ turntables with detachable housing
Cons
  • It's ok

The new Concord design is so much better than the MK1

The main reason I bought these needles was because Shure stopped making the M44-7 replacement needles set that I used at Shell Technics. My first pickups were MK1 Concord style nightclub pickups which sounded great but had trouble mating with some Club 1200 tonearms and also the grip was too small and flimsy for a quick grip. The new style mk2 concord solved these problems. I use 90% open format DJing and DVS scratching and 10% vinyl sets. If we compare the sound quality with the worn M44, then

Pros
  • Engineered specifically for scratching with a focus on maximizing scratch performance
Cons
  • Empty
