📺 OSD Audio FM-148: Low Profile Wall Mount for 37-63-inch LED/LCD TVs Review

Ok I paid $3.61 for this - I've noticed the price varies between sellers and such - and it's pretty damn cool. Fits perfectly, works as advertised and is strikingly similar to the $180 mount that Samsung sells.

Why spend so much money on an insanely complicated wall mount? This mount can support a lot of weight and has adapters to mount the TV at the right distance from the wall. Also has a slanted bar to facilitate access to rear wiring when hanging on the wall. Two people are required to safely hang the TV.

I just assembled this wall mount (1 hour) and it comes unassembled and the instructions are terrible. It has 15 different parts each (4-5) and they are all thrown into a bag with mixed (60-75) parts. The pictures in the instructions are small and worthless. I have installed wall mounts before and if you have never installed a wall mount you are in big trouble with this cheap product. I will never again buy a wall mount that doesn't have a center support.

So the kit looks great such a good idea and a very affordable price. My only criticism is that it would be nice if the seller/manufacturer/whoever specified the size of the screws included in this kit. I bought this for the LG (fairly standard brand right?) 4400 and the mounting screws that came with this kit are too wide/thick/big to fit my TV's mounting area. I didn't give much thought to the quality of the TV mount. If it's rated for a certain speed, you should be fine. Not this one. It comes in a thin box with a four-piece frame. Doesn't this reduce the overall tensile strength of the fastener? In addition to issues with strength, the instructions point to reverse assembly. This mount is suitable for 42 inch LCD flat screen TVs. The mount is equipped with the necessary hardware to make installation very easy. The screws attached the frame parts and the screws attached the assembled frame to the wall. Good instructions that are easy to follow (although I only used them as a reference).
