I only buy waterproof sandals for my children. In the past I've worn saltwater sandals (too hard), sneakers (expensive) and striderite. They're cheap and hold up well. They are really waterproof and comfortable. My 2 year old can put them on and take them off himself (which some parents don't like) but it fits me. She has worn them everywhere and they hold up well.

Bought these for my daughter to go to the water/amusement park. They were on their feet most of the time. The velcro straps here are just for show - they don't give enough slack to be tightened to keep the shoes from sloshing. It was cute but for a first time from this brand I am disappointed with the quality of these shoes and how they have held up through the first week of wear.
