Description of πŸ”₯ OSIAS External Fuel Pump EFI 380LH 1000HP High Flow 12V 145psi Universal Solid Petrol AN10 Inlet / AN6 Outlet + Bracket E85 Compliant Bosch 044 Style Fuel Pump

The electric fuel pump kit comes with universal hardware to fit multiple vehicles models.Compatible Fuel: gasoline, pump gas, race gas, diesel, E85 and alcohol/ethanol. OSIAS' 380lph High Flow, High Pressure Fuel Pump is capable of supporting over 1,200 HP normally aspirated and a whopping 1,075 HP at 30 psi boost!* It flows 380lph (100gph) at 43 PSI, 340lph (90gph) at 73 PSI. Operating Voltage:12V. Operating Pressure:75PSI(5.0Bar). Operating temperature range: -68 Β°F-194 Β°F. Easy to install. Since it does not require dropping the fuel tank, fuel pump placement and fuel line routing is critical. Recommended to install below the tank ensures that fuel is gravity-fed from the fuel tank. If the pump is higher than your fuel tank, prohibits fuel flow to the pump and forces fuel to be drawn up to it. This causes the pump to work harder run hotter and can cause air to enter the fuel line will result in damage to the fuel system. The OSIAS 380LPH High Flow Fuel Pump designed to be used externally or as an in tank installation. A pre-filter rated at 100 microns MUST be used. Failure to use a suitable pre-filter will result in premature failure of the pump. Notice: OSIAS fuel pump only fit 12-volt DC batteries car. This fuel pump is intended for electronic fuel injection systems only. It is not suitable for carbureted engines. Before starting the engine, ensure there are no leaks at any point in the fuel system. Before wiring the pump to the electrical system make sure the polarity is correct.

Arrived damaged for fuel system

There were marks on the pump near the inlet. Threads and mating surfaces on fittings and pump were not smooth. If it weren't in new packaging I would assume it was a used return.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • So far so good

Not worth it for me.

Possibly due to the fact that the fuel pump caused high fuel consumption or simply did not work properly. Since my car worked with my stock fuel pump, I only wanted to upgrade to E85, but the pump did not perform as expected with regular 93 octane fuel. I would not use this pump at all.

Pros
  • Electric fuel pumps
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
