It worked once connected to my PI 3 A with Raspbian and required no configuration or driver changes. The resolution is very good for the size and price, which makes typing easier when working on the command line. The touchscreen works well enough that I don't need a mouse, which is handy considering the Model A only has a USB port.

On a black console, the image quality appears good at first, but as soon as you open it up a bit brighter, the image starts to bleed. At first I thought it might be the screen so I bought a second one. The same crap. If you want a good screen, skip this one.

It was easy to install and worked well. My problem was that I couldn't resize the screen properly no matter what I tried. I had to restart several times because I opened the program and because the screen was the wrong size I couldn't close it.

Made from good material. Installed Raspberry Pi 4 with 5 inch Osoyoo DSI touch screen. The assembly could be better, but overall the stand is solid.

The screen is pretty well made and useful. No additional drivers or special configuration are required for use. As mentioned by others the cable could be better if the screen could be mounted on the RPI.

I bought this display for a 3D printer and was confused after reading the reviews but went for it. This screen works very well. I bought this to use as the main display for my Raspberry Pi 4b and it works great. It uses the Raspberry Pi's DSI port, which is great because it just works - plug and play. The picture quality is excellent, the capacitive touchscreen works well.

Really good screen and responsive. I built my own HiFi DAC and used this screen on it. It was possible to choose a newer model.

Videos look good! Everything fit together easily. The only thing I would have wished for is that the "stand" or "support legs" weren't big enough to stay upright when the Pi is installed. Maybe I installed them wrong? Either way, this is a great DSI touch display.

This screen is used with the Pi 4 to emulate the Logitech SqueezeboxTouch. The software used is piCorePlayer, Squeezelite and Jivelite. The "touch" points for icons on the screen near the edge don't work at all. In the middle, there's a big discrepancy in where you land when you "touch" an icon to go to a specific feature. I installed Venus OS on an RPi 3b+ to monitor some Victron hardware and was so impressed I decided to buy a dedicated touchscreen for it. I am impressed with this display. It works right out of the box (while many other people have had to go into VenusOS and change certain display settings for other types of displays). I bought this display for a wearable project I was working on. The display is crisp, has great viewing angles, and is really easy to plug and play. This is definitely my screen from now on. Highly recommended!

When I connect the screen to the Pi with a ribbon cable, it doesn't boot. I have another similar screen that uses a DSI cable and works fine, so it's not my Raspberry Pi.

This cable will not work with your Raspberry Pi as it uses a DSI cable code 20861, but it is a cable code 20624 and the Apple display port does not have enough current to power it. Check whether cable 20861 105C 60V VW- 1
