In general, the functionality of the device is not bad. The main downside is that the designers messed up the pin order on the DSI connector and you can only use the screen with the included non-standard 10cm cable. Another reviewer provided photos of problematic cable ends. If you want to use it as a touchscreen that isn't directly next to the Raspberry Pi, you'll need to cut off one end of the new cable and sand down the plastic insulation to expose the wires. Made from good material. Installed Raspberry Pi 4 with 5 inch Osoyoo DSI touch screen. The assembly could be better, but overall the stand is solid.

I used this with a Raspberry Pi 4 to run it with my OctoPrint setup. Octoscreen was very easy to set up. I didn't need to add any extra drivers and the screen was oriented in landscape mode, so no extra code was needed to rotate the screen etc. It looks great and is very responsive. Love it!

I don't use the touch function, but the screen works very well, especially considering the price. I have it running 24/7, has a decent viewing angle and is connected to a single DSI connection.

This display will be added to one of my projects. The display shows the entire software of the Pi without any difference to normal HDMI. The touch screen works great. But two things must be considered. Using this display will leave a normal display connected via HDMI blank. They are not displayed at the same time. You must disconnect this display from the display connector to restore the HDMI connector to normal operation. Second, you need to get into software development.

When I connect the screen to the Pi with a ribbon cable, it doesn't boot. I have another similar screen that uses a DSI cable and works fine, so it's not my Raspberry Pi.

Pros: Does what it says, works like a charm in plug and play. Cons: The mounting holes are in the middle, I wish they were where access to the Raspberry Pi's USB and HDMI ports aligned with the edge for more convenient use. If the company makes a custom PCB for it, I'll buy another.

Just arrived. I bought it to replace the resistive screen I bought. Thats much better. A single ribbon cable to connect and it works straight away with no setup required. Scroll with one finger and that's it. This will be my primary screen for any future projects that require a touchscreen of this size. It's perfect for me at the moment. Let's see how durable it is.

Works out of the box with my Raspberry Pi 3+ and/or RPI 4 2gig. Tidy with only 1 cable. The bezel was good and improved the screen's usability. No mistakes. Thanks!
