Works with official display drivers

Good buy. I bought a 5 inch screen. Clear, good picture. Having power and data on one cable was a huge advantage for me as my project would be space constrained. Additional circuit boards and power cables would be a problem. It works with the driver for the official RPi screen, although the official one is 7 inches. It also works in conjunction with the Innomaker amp hat (which works with HiFiBerry drivers). The responsiveness of the touchscreen varied greatly depending on the operating system.

DSI Touchscreen Kit for your Raspberry Pi!

Videos look good! Everything fit together easily. The only thing I would have wished for is that the "stand" or "support legs" weren't big enough to stay upright when the Pi is installed. Maybe I installed them wrong? Either way, this is a great DSI touch display.

Quick and easy installation

I used this with a Raspberry Pi 4 to run it with my OctoPrint setup. Octoscreen was very easy to set up. I didn't need to add any extra drivers and the screen was oriented in landscape mode, so no extra code was needed to rotate the screen etc. It looks great and is very responsive. Love it!

Good for the price for my rating.

Good price. Very easy to install with DSI interface - no installation required, everything just works. Significant glare at the edges. The display is clear but a bit washed out. The touch function works well. I use OctoDash on my 3D printer.

Doesn't work for Pi 4 camera connection

I bought them specifically to give my Ardunocam more reach for mounting so it can display better on my Pi 3D printer with Octoprint. I plugged it in, turned on the system, the LCD was blank and the camera was starting to get very, very, very hot in my hand. I figured a bad cable so I got the longest one, plugged it in, booted up and the same thing happened. Luckily it didn't fry the camera or the PI, but it must have really messed up the Pi's graphics since the LCD wasn't working. I plugged in…

Passed out after a few months. I couldn't calibrate it properly, in the end I didn't even bother touching it, but then it shut down completely. No light, no noise, nothing. Just another dead soldier. Pay another ten dollars and buy from a real company.

Will not work on your RPi 4

This cable will not work with your Raspberry Pi as it uses a DSI cable code 20861, but it is a cable code 20624 and the Apple display port does not have enough current to power it. Check whether cable 20861 105C 60V VW- 1

Works perfectly! in my view

Just arrived. I bought it to replace the resistive screen I bought. Thats much better. A single ribbon cable to connect and it works straight away with no setup required. Scroll with one finger and that's it. This will be my primary screen for any future projects that require a touchscreen of this size. It's perfect for me at the moment. Let's see how durable it is.

Nice little screen

I don't use the touch function, but the screen works very well, especially considering the price. I have it running 24/7, has a decent viewing angle and is connected to a single DSI connection.

Good screen but not great when viewed from an angle.

The screen is pretty well made and useful. No additional drivers or special configuration are required for use. As mentioned by others the cable could be better if the screen could be mounted on the RPI.

Very high quality screen, very impressed!

I bought this display for a wearable project I was working on. The display is crisp, has great viewing angles, and is really easy to plug and play. This is definitely my screen from now on. Highly recommended!

Works well enough - my new review

It was easy to install and worked well. My problem was that I couldn't resize the screen properly no matter what I tried. I had to restart several times because I had the program open and because the screen was the wrong size I couldn't close it.

Connecting this screen killed my raspberry pi

Good: ? Mistake. ? It's supposed to work over the Pi display cable? Bad: Displays nothing. Shame: It killed my old Raspberry Pi 2. I thought it was just a coincidence/failure of the old Pi. But I got the same result after connecting another pi3. Now I only have 1 Pi left and I don't want to risk killing it and connecting that shield too. I risked it on this screen (there was only 1 rating). It was a costly mistake. It also looks like it was returned, the cable was twisted and didn't look new.

works great delivered on time.

Works out of the box with my Raspberry Pi 3+ and/or RPI 4 2gig. Tidy with only 1 cable. The bezel was good and improved the screen's usability. No mistakes. Thanks!
