I bought this display for a 3D printer and was confused after reading the reviews but went for it. I'm sooooo glad I did this, I will DEFINITELY be buying another one when I work on something on the go. I used a long cable that I bought a while ago and it worked fine. You just have to make sure that you use it correctly. I had a cable that only worked one way, but no other oddities. SO, the included cable and 2 OTHER different cables worked fine for me. The presentation is excellent. It's bright and easy to see, but outdoors in direct sunlight can be a problem. I also light it up if nothing happens after a while. and returns as soon as you do something. The touchscreen is also very responsive (more so than the touchscreen on one of my printers). Keep in mind that this is a 5-inch display, so small items can be an issue. So you might want to keep the pen nearby. My only question is: will they be on sale on Black Friday? I know I want at least 1 more.
