Not what I was hoping for but fits well

For the size of this pack there are only two small pockets. The phone case barely fits in my phone; I often have to struggle to get my phone out of my pocket and it's only an Iphone 8 - not a big phone. The phone pocket is also difficult to access and the clear plastic sometimes works for changing songs etc but generally doesn't work very well and I end up having to put my phone in an uncomfortable pocket and take it out. The other pocket is tiny, only big enough for a key and a few other small

The pockets are insanely small but super practical

As other reviews have pointed out, the pockets on this item are almost a joke. Not much more space than your car keys. I have a medium sized phone (an old LG G6) and it won't fit in a pocket without power. Although this is the only negative. I use a cell phone strap and can ask the seamstress to add a big pocket because I really like how it fits. The elastic waistband is wide and comfortable. The backpack sits well on the hip and doesn't dangle too much. The water bottle is large enough for…

Well made but limited

I bought this to replace a cheap neoprene running belt I was using and had a few upgrade requests. 1. I need room for a water bottle if I don't take my hydration pack with me. 2. I wanted the upgraded storage pro: This strap is good, looks great, I love how the strap adjusts and stays in place where I installed it. The water bottle pocket and strap fit perfectly - not too big, very secure, doesn't bounce when running. Cons: Electronics compartment outside and small zippered pocket inside lays…

Unusual to wear on hip, phone area is small

I'm writing this as a huge Osprey fan, but this is my least favorite Osprey product. I use it for day hikes, not running. Inserting and removing the water bottle (included) is normal, it is a problem with some backpacks. The water bottle itself is the perfect size for my walks (5-8 miles). Space for a phone is a bit small. I am using Galaxy 10e. It fits easily if you phrase it a certain way. I sometimes use a headphone amp and that works, but with a little persuasion. Hip phone calls are not…

  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Updated review after 2 years of use: Great concept with some flaws

I wanted a minimalist hip pack to hold my keys and phone while running so they wouldn't bounce around in my bag. I've walked about 2000 miles with this waist belt since I bought this one. The main pocket holds my keys and a small wallet. For longer runs, I put the key in my pocket and stuff the belt pouch with GU gels (it holds at least 4 on my 20+ mile runs). The water bottle holster works very well and the water bottle is easy to take, use and replace. However, I dropped it while running and…
