🐴 Complete Horse Grooming Kit: Oster Equine Care Series, 7-Piece Set Review

All brushes are great and good quality - they seem to stand the test of time. However, the stiff bristles are too widely spaced for my liking and don't cut deep into a winter coat to remove debris. I also want the hoof to have a brush at the end to clean the hooves.

Care set of really good quality. I bought this to pack in my horse trailer which has very little space under the crib. I love compactness. It fits perfectly on the shelf by the door. The only problem is that one of the strap clips broke after only a few weeks of use. To fix this I just threaded the strap right through the loop and it works great.

First, I love this set. My favorite detail is the comb for the mane and tail. It brushes my horses quickly and easily and is comfortable to hold. All brushes are wonderful. The hoof pick could be better if it was a combination of a double-sided scratching head and a brush, but the included scratching head does the job well enough. All in all, this set is worth the money.

Pretty decent tool set, great starter kit but case is awkward to use. Tools don't hold well in it and you have to hang it high to be able to fully open it and hold the combs in place (our shed didn't have high hooks). I ended up getting this (Bucket Boss: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GK4TRKO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_14) and it was amazing. Plenty of room for Cowboy Magic, gloves, treats, etc.

I bought this product because the Oster brand is well known in other products such as electrical appliances and they gave me confidence. I really liked the set because the brushes have high-quality fibers and make the horse's coat soft, shiny and dust-free. In addition, the plastic parts are strong and do not break when the horse is combed. This is a great set that fits nicely in a tote bag. While there are a few straps for separate things, they are all together. I would recommend adding a metal comb to remove dandruff as the Currier in the kit is only good for loosening hardened dirt from trail riding etc. I would also recommend adding a finishing brush as the only soft bristled brush in this kit is for faces.
