I ordered this for use on an Oster fixed metal blade hair clipper that normally uses plastic guards. Only suitable for the clippers Oster Classic with exchangeable metal fittings. I couldn't fit the #5 guard into the plastic so I ordered one. Luckily I have an Oster Classic so I use it when protection #5 is required. 3 stars as the use of the word "universal" in the description is unclear.

Caring for a Bichon Poodle at home. It gets stuck in his curly hair and is difficult to pull out. Outer tooth bent over multiple uses. It all looks cheap. It is better to buy a suitable nozzle right away, not a comb nozzle.

I bought the Oster Universal #5 Comb Head Blade Guard (5/8") for my Oster Classic 76 clipper, which I received as a gift. I also have several other universal combs Received from Oster but none of them were the length I needed. This Oster #5 was exactly what I was looking for and is exactly the same as the others in construction/materials, fit and shape. I am very happy with it and it has worked exceptionally well on at least a dozen haircuts to date.

Love these attachments! I take care of my Standard Schnauzer and I don't like it when it's shaved to the bone. The attachments give me an idea of what a manual cleaning looks like. These nozzles are commonly used; After Covid hit and my husband couldn't go to his barber I started cutting his hair with it and he loved it so much I can now add "barber" to my many job titles!

I have 4,5,6 and they are strong! I am a licensed beautician and I do 15-20 haircuts today and they are holding up very well.
