Description of OTC 4866 Timing Plug

Threaded clear acrylic timing plug. Used in conjunction with a timing light allows for viewing the crankshaft timing marks without oil spraying out of the crankcase, typical during full advance RPM. Fits all HD models. Similar to HD-96295-65D. Sold individually.

Finally, No More Timing Woes!

As a hesitant DIY mechanic, I have always found timing adjustment a daunting task. HOWEVER, this tool has made it a breeze .As a result of using this product, I found that timing adjustments were much faster and easier, saving me valuable time. The plug is sturdy and well-built, which is a huge plus. The only downside I can think of is that it took me a while to figure out how to use it but a quick online search cleared up my confusion. Overall, a must-have for any automotive tool collection!

Too long and too expensive!

Applies to all HD models. Does anyone have a gap of over an inch in the time display window? I also. Over $20 for a 3 cent piece of material that had to be cut, then filed, sanded and polished. If only I hadn't been in the quandary of doing this. Well, let's just say I wouldn't buy it for anything. Garbage can
