did not have time. Possibly in the future.

not finished. Maybe with a less resilient nut in the future, but this time I had to go back to a regular old vise and then replace the flare nut.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are cons

Doesn't work for me.

Purchased to remove 10mm flare nuts on 2 brake lines. Aluminum nuts in ABS aluminum block. They couldn't get the nuts. Seems like a great idea, but didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Definitely recommended!

This tool allowed me to remove the flare nut from the brake line. I've tried box wrenches, a vise, and heat, but to no avail. I figured I would have to cut and replace the hard line and buying this tool was a last resort. Worked like a treat, didn't slip at all and I was able to use it (with some heat) to free it!

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Drive socket required

Quality tool for tight spots or damaged flare nuts

They really saved my last brake job. The old union nut was jammed - PB Blaster and Torch and still difficult to move. I have a quality box wrench, but it has started to spoil the nut. They held the nut tight and tight and wouldn't slip off so I was finally able to break them and I could use them again to tighten the new hose.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
