good quality for transmission and power transmission

Fits my 2008 F350 Lariat Super Cab 4WD Dual v10. Dana 80 in the back I think. The quality was very good with excellent finishes. Fast delivery never gets old!

Pros

Cons
  • Concise instructions

Right tool for 2000 F350 DRW, Dana 80

Right tool for my 2000 F350 DRW 4x4, Dana 80. Tool is heavy and works well, torque up to 70lbs and then roll back 5 clicks for new bearings or 7 clicks for used bearings.

Powered by Dana 70-2U

This head also fits the twin axle Dana 70-2U used in Ford E-350 vans. One of the reviewers mentioned breaking the stem, probably because the entire stem didn't go into the nut. Luckily I read it and he's right. The tool does not hold itself straight with the center guide pin. Hold it straight and it works great! Made in the USA.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons

Good tools from OTC

This tool is related to the Ford tool 205-282 for adjusting the bearing preload ratchet nut used in Dana axles made for Ford. As well as the Dana 80 trucks it will also fit the Dana 70 trucks used in the E series. I borrowed one of the OTC tools from a friend and it worked great. After buying one of my own, I ended up buying a Lisle 28000 in place of this instrument. The Lisle tool has a double end and the smaller end fits the Dana 44. The price was similar. The four star rating is given…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity
