Broken leg in medical supplies and equipment

Broke both legs at the ankles and needed something smaller than the Big Boot to wear at night so I could sleep and be more comfortable. It was great, gives support and I can even wear it in my work shoes during the day. Started wearing it after 4 months in Big Boot and experienced great relief. Has lateral support so I know I'm protected and it gives me more confidence.

Pros
  • Soft material on the heel and tongue provides durability and extra comfort. Worn like a sock, the slim-fitting design slips easily into shoes.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Ideal for sports - medical supplies and equipment

Sturdy and dense, just what I need in a sports ankle brace. I'm a size 9.5 but I wanted it to fit tighter when I worked out so I took a size down. I also have an ASO ankle stabilizer and while I've never twisted my ankle playing sports, wearing the ASO gives me more peace of mind with the strength and tighter feel of the OTC. While I haven't worn the OTC for long periods of time in normal everyday use, the ASO feels a bit more comfortable and is the one I wear when it's going to be worn forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Crossed nylon stability straps keep the ankle in a neutral position preventing sprains or sprains.
Cons
  • New competition arrived

OTC ankle stabilizer with heel strap

After breaking both my ankles (my left one twice) I now wear braces on both ankles when I play tennis. I wear an older brace without a heel strap on my left ankle and have found it to be quite successful in stabilizing my ankle. Having recently broken my right ankle, I wear the brace I'm currently reviewing (the one with the heel straps) on my right ankle and have found it to be much more comfortable and comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend this product for protection againstโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Strap system does not stretch during exercise. The plastic exoskeleton improves protection against re-stretching and offers effective treatment after acute sprains.
Cons
  • So far so good
