I will ALWAYS choose Otterbox, especially for fragile items like the iPhone. This case lasted almost two years with almost a day's fall (I'm very clumsy) and only a tiny crack in the hard plastic under the home button. In combination with my protective glass, my phone is practically invincible. Remember that the light pink rubberized part will darken over time and will be used no matter how clean you keep it.
