I was looking for a pad to store dog food and bowls. While the style is what I was looking for, I gave it three stars because it is not a rug or area rug but a custom made roll of rug. The ends are not processed, not even trimmed. I put this in my laundry where no one can see, so I keep it to myself. But if it went somewhere else I would bring it back.

I have an 11 year old Yorkie who has NEVER used this ladder in my house. She walked all the way around the house to get into our common room. I'm so thrilled that these steps have given her the confidence to climb these stairs. I ended up adding double sided tape to secure them. My dog didn't move them at all, but I felt safer sticking them on for my own use. Oddly enough, I tried other steps for these steps, but she flatly refused to try them. Absolutely LOVE this product! I always clean the house every day and I've just noticed that every time I clean/vacuum the stairs and put them back up it leaves dust behind. Today I throw them all on the floor because I have to wipe down the stairs before vacuuming, I saw black fine as sand. I have an older dog who has trouble walking on hardwood floors. Or if it is on a hard wooden floor, it will get stuck because the floor is slippery. I ordered these runners to try out in the spring. You are perfect. They suck well. If an accident happens on them; You can take a water hose to clean them. Dries fairly quickly when hung up. I was at Home Depot recently and saw a rug that cost the same ($18) but was of higher quality. This product is designed for heavy traffic, strong, durable, thick rubber floor and thick mats. Compared to this product, it is cheap and not worth the price.
