Do not close tightly - otherwise it works fine.

As the name suggests, lids are not the safest. I crushed six of these and took them to work in a grocery bag and three of them had the top ripped off. Since it was mashed potatoes, nothing spilled, but it definitely wouldn't work for veggies or other dishes I wanted to use them in. Otherwise they seem to be well made but I can't use them for what I bought them for because of this bug so I'm very disappointed. I'll have to think of some other use for them, maybe to store homemade ice cream or…

I bought these for my children to use for school lunches. During a pandemic, everything should be disposable. I felt enormous guilt for using so much plastic. It is in order. The 4 ounce size is good for the portions I pack for a 2 year old. Unfortunately, children do not stay permanently. Some of them I can tape down, others just fall off and require tape, which puts more pressure on teachers at lunchtime. I doubt I'll take them again. I don't have a good replacement strategy. Compostable Cups: Disposable Drinkware

I purchased these for use in making Ice Cream through the Master Gardener Program. All the negative feelings towards plastic utensils made me want to find something compostable. They are durable and moisture resistant and hold up well to ice cream. They weren't quite the same shape as the picture, more round (and tipsy) and the lids didn't hold up at all. As a result, they rocked sideways during transport and the covers came off. They weren't stackable either, but the lid issue and stackability
