Nice coat, bad service.

Does not cover legs when riding in the rain. The elastic on the hood broke on first use and it took almost a month to get my money back. Suitable for light rainy days, covers the back of the saddle. Covers the helmet well. It's just not as well made as their oilcloth rags. But if you're going for the summer rain, this should be fine. Just put on your rain pants. The reason for 2 stars is the disgusting customer service.

Not quite for riding

I wanted this coat to be liked, but it has serious design flaws: it doesn't cover the saddle like most other rags; Instead, it's slit at the back so it only covers your legs. Also, the waist is slightly narrower, so it rises in a seated position. This may keep your torso and legs dry, but your buttocks will get wet. It's a shame, because the material is very nice and the construction seems solid. Maybe a good coat for walking around town, but not for riding.

great for coats, jackets and vests

works great i bought 2 for my husband and it worked great with my thick jackets i have ever used it for a normal cold night with my thick jacket...it is really long and it's what i was looking for, about 4 inches off the ground, it works great with my rain boots. I ordered size L for me I am 4ft 10" 145" my husband got XXL and he is 5ft 11" 265" and it worked great and is still long for him but not too long, knee length or slightly longer than I recommend this seller and item

Let it Rain! on clothes

I wore it yesterday when it was raining heavily in New York. What great protection from the elements! Between that raincoat and rubber boots, I was covered from head to toe. An umbrella, which would be useless in gusts of wind, is not needed. I'm 5ft 2in, about 130lbs and size XS fits well - you can adjust the waist and hood. The length offers coverage and you can walk easily. I have to go downstairs when going up the stairs on the subway to avoid dragging, but it doesn't matter. It's…

Full, Comfortable, Flexible Protection

I LOVE this raincoat! My husband bought the men's version and I bought the same one a few months ago. They are a bit large (although there are elastic adjustment straps inside) which is great because I can fold thick sweaters underneath in cold weather. Everything about this coat is adjustable! The fur itself retains body heat well. I've just worn this coat while wandering around London in the cold rainy weather and it did a great job, actually using its "transformer" ability to fold it into…

That's a great raincoat! I'm 5'11 "

That's a great raincoat! I'm 5ft 11in, 160 lbs. and the sleeve length is 34" - I ordered a large and the sleeve length was perfect and there is enough space underneath to put on a thick sweater and it wasn't too tight. It's long enough to fit in my calf-length rubber boots. If you're looking for the best, never replace with something better, then this is what you need. I would give six stars if I could. It has so many neat features like Velcro wrist closure that it packs into its own pocket…

The pros far outweigh any small cons

Love this coat. It is currently the only lightweight full-length packable raincoat on the market. It does what it promises and does it very well. It fits easily in my everyday backpack and I've had a few comments on how stylish it looks. The overall quality of cut, material and construction matches the price. I consider this to be average quality. It kept me dry and comfortable through some pretty heavy downpours. One problem is ventilation. Even minimal ventilation is helpful on late spring or

Wanted to keep the jacket

I have a shorter version of this jacket and I like it. I was considering trying the longer version. When it arrived I immediately took it out of the plastic packaging and hung it up. It was a strange but strong smell. I thought it would pass after I got out of the plastic. I kept noticing this in my closet so I moved it to another location with more ventilation. The smell stayed. Aside from trying to wash it, I didn't know what to do for fear of damaging the waterproofing. I decided not to risk

NO HYPE: Excellent - EXCEPTIONAL - quality and design

Super - exceptional - quality and design! Thoughtful design: pocket flaps with Velcro (high-quality zippers); elastic waist adjuster (high quality equipment); very spacious hood with unique elastic adjustment system; 1 sq. ft. Mysteriously designed interior zippered pocket/compartment at upper back with two internal straps; the main zipper is high quality and durable; and it's flexible, the "fabric" is how it lies on the body, rather than the feel of a stiff yellow raincoat. (There are also leg
