Ideal for attic lighting.

As others have said, cells are basically useless. But otherwise very high quality. The cable is thick, the sockets are strong and well made. I used it in my attic and it spread to light up the whole area well. Now he will spend his life there, which will last for many years. The spacing between the lights was perfect.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • reliability

Poor quality cells. :(

Two of the cages arrived broken at the bottom seam. We wanted them for an event so we couldn't return them and wait for a new one. I expect them to fade pretty quickly. I don't know I don't know what "transparency" really means, but given the poor quality of the cells, I'll give the transparency a 3-star rating of just average. The cable itself is thick and durable.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • weak

Very good quality for the price!

The quality of the cable is good, the sockets are better than expected. We bought 3 kits to use with generators for workplace emergency lighting. The lamp covers are a little loose, but that is easily fixed with 2 cable ties. We use 14 watt 5k ohm LED bulbs so the 15 amp limit is not a problem. I would buy again. Several mechanics asked where we got them from.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • One more thing to add

Amazing value for lighting and ceiling fans

Definitely hard wearing, durable, strong, good value, much cheaper at Revain than Lowes or HomeDepot. Pairing with 75w LED bulbs and connecting to my battery operated Dewalt "Portable Power Station" gave me 5 hours and 15 minutes of continuous use on four 6.0Ah FlexVolt batteries. I no longer have to worry about a lack of lighting in the workplace, and I no longer have to put flashlights everywhere.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Great garland, you can still work on the baskets a little.

Works great, 100ft of cable was enough to go around the entire perimeter of my underground. Plastic baskets leave a lot to be desired. I would advise engineers to increase the thickness of the plastic locking connector that secures the basket around the lamp socket by a few thousand. For anyone installing them, I recommend removing the plastic basket and folding the hinge parts BEFORE installing it on the lamp socket.

Pros
  • Long range
Cons
  • Speed

What I needed most in lighting and ceiling fans

This was one of the cheapest (for the price) light kits I could find at Revain so I was a bit worried about quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find excellent quality. The cords and sockets are thick and I know this set will last us for many years to come. The cages seem a bit flimsy/cheap (although I haven't bought any other kits so I don't have anything that compares) but I used LED (plastic) bulbs so I don't have to worry about protecting the bulbs. Otherwise it's exactly what I wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are nuances

True, the bulb holders are junk

I have a HUGE attic and a bulb or two just isn't enough to get a good view of it. So I bought this so I can move around my attic with much more confidence. At this point the wiring seems fine and the lamp sockets appear fine as well. Lamp covers/protectors are absolute rubbish. This is not allowed on the construction site. I've tried putting it on 3 times and all 3 times it has come loose and fallen back. I tired another and he did the same. Luckily I have them in my attic hanging over my headโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Approximately

Probably wrong rating

The quality and construction of the light string is first class but the rating in the description and on individual lamp holders may be exaggerated. 150 watts, A23 or moreโ€, but when I plugged ten 150 watt bulbs into the cord, the cord got hot near the plug. And in case anyone was wondering, these are regular 150W GE bulbs (not heavy-duty) and the tip hasn't been plugged into an extension cord, but directly into a dedicated 20A circuit. Using LED bulbs would be a solution, but LED bulbs withโ€ฆ
