Not as described. for hydration packs

This product does not have a "quick release hose" and is not compatible with my hydration system. There is a different bubble than in the picture. Product does not match the description. The quick release hose was a necessary purchase decision. Outdoor products are very different. I love their products but this purchase would not have happened if the product had been labeled accurately. Buyers are dependent on accurate identification as we cannot physically inspect the item prior to purchase…

Great product in moisturizing packs

Unbelievable, simply amazing. Just right, not big, not small. I have a 52 inch chest and it fits pretty well, lots of adjustment. Sits a little high on the chest, but that's to be expected. Fasteners, straps, zippers and quality material, lots of space inside. I only see these flaws. The side pockets are elastic, I wish they were with a closure for a better fit. Same goes for the back mesh, I will use it to store bulky items like a windbreaker or similar. But nothing that could giggle. The…

Excellent bag and blister

Excellent bag and blister! Bought this for a ski trip so I can carry an extra layer, shoes, wallet, phone etc in little more than one bag. Even with a few spills and tree branches, he survived mostly unscathed. The side straps are a little understretched and the elastic used to manage the excess shoulder and lap straps frays. Nothing broke, and given what he's been through, that's more of a compliment than a criticism. By the way: If you ski with a bladder, put the tube in the backpack so that…

Ideal backpack for short, light to moderate hiking, biking or sightseeing

I bought the same backpack (in a different color) for myself a few years ago and it's perfect for shorter ones (a few miles) Travel . easy to moderate hiking, biking or just sightseeing. The 2 liter water tank is a good size and can be used or removed if you'd rather just take your water bottle with you. The backpack has separate zipped compartments, a zipped compartment and mesh pockets for many things. Wide, padded shoulder straps ensure comfort, while chest and waist clips secure and balance

My favorite backpack.

Love it! Used it for day hikes 2-3 times a week for three years. They take it with them, stuff it in the trunk of cars, drag it through branches, ride it on sleds and snowshoes. It never ends. My three children also have these and use them often. No complaints at all. This is small enough that you should think carefully about what you take with you. When I run 5-10 miles I usually only have water in my outside pockets, but inside I carry a jacket, hat, gloves, first aid kit, camera, snacks…

Perfect compact size, fully featured

I bought this backpack to replace the exact same model I've been using daily as my holdall for about 8 years. Just the right size for my cell phone, a change of clothes, lunch, water bottle etc. (not big enough for a laptop) which I used to walk or drive to the train station a few times a week. Also used for day hikes etc. Very durable, all straps are adjustable. It has well padded shoulder straps and very important chest and waist straps. Has compression straps. There are plenty of storage…

  • Almost everything is fine

Great for day trips

I wasn't expecting much when I bought this 2 years ago but for the price this bag is fantastic. It's the perfect size for me, both in terms of size and capacity, and it's been pretty durable. I've used it for frequent day hikes of 4 to 15 miles for two years. If there isn't enough water in the 2L reservoir, the side pockets make it easy to add extra water, and the multiple pockets come in handy for organizing all my stuff. It's also easy to adjust the straps for a comfortable fit depending on…
