Great gloves for the price.

ski gloves used in March 2020 for 3 days. The inner layer is very comfortable to wear, although you have to admit that you won't get the same feeling as you would with a glove without an inner lining. Was never a problem for skiing. I have used unlined gloves when it was warmer (low 30's), with the very light liner I already had (tall teens), and with the supplied liner which is a little thicker (single digit). My hands have never been cold. My hands sweat easily, so changing the liner is a…

Very disappointed, not for military use.

My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Currently stationed in South Korea. My department didn't give me cold weather gloves so I settled on these and my parents bought them and mailed them to me. I hoped they would warm my hands and stagnate well. But my pieces freeze in it unless I'm moving very actively, like a fast march jolt. But even when sweeping a parking lot or patrolling, my fingers freeze. I even added another wool liner and they are still freezing. It says from -5° to 25°…

Worth the investment - road tested in real winter conditions

Used these hikes in the middle of an American winter in the Four Corners region, including traction with chains at Angel's Landing in Zion NP and 16*F Temps at Canyonlands-NP . These gloves are a real find. Keeps me warm, comfortable and insulated when I'm outside most of the day. I had to take off the lining mitts as they didn't fit properly (too small); but once I took them off they fit like a charm. I also like the easy drawstrings that you can attach to literally anything in your backpack…

Keeps fingertips warm

I spend a lot of time outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0 to 30 F with very little or no sunlight. I've always had issues with cold and/or numbness in my fingertips with other gloves. After a little research I decided to buy them and they were not disappointed. The only downside: If you spend a lot of time outdoors during strenuous activities, your hands will sweat. Above all, I wanted warmth and some mobility, and I enjoyed that. Balaclavas are also good for warmer weather!

Weak Material: Cold Weather Gloves

Not designed for ANY job, not even shoveling. These gloves are thin and poorly made. If you need gloves to keep you warm while standing still and not touching anything, then these are for you. If you want to use them for light work or skiing/snowboarding, look elsewhere. There are absolutely no reinforcements in high-wear areas. I had owned these gloves for 2 weeks when the damage happened and customer service offered to send me tape to fix them.
