Item is missing springs

Item is missing springs, picture shows springs and says full set This is the second order they have sent and it still has no springs so I am assuming that no feathers are included

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • dull packaging

Great product so far (2 weeks)

So far so good! Delivered as expected and the product works great on my 2003 R1. The exchange was very easy. Drain oil, remove existing plates including wire pin and plate. Soak the new sheets in oil overnight and add them in the order listed in the directions. No need for a clutch spring or anything like that. My bike got back the performance I was used to! Request.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The clutch kit is great, at least the clutch itself. The diaphragm spring on the other hand is made of some sort of plasticine. Luckily I had a heavy EBC spring lying around and it now works perfectly. I really like the updated friction disc setup which eliminates the flimsy little friction disc from the standard setup.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • They could have gone for a newer model

It fits and works well!

I've never changed a clutch in my life so I was afraid of doing something wrong. The kit arrived on time and I wasn't sure what parts to remove/replace so I contacted this seller. They answered my emails within a few hours (if not less) and explained why the kit looked a little different than my bike (stock). I installed a new clutch kit and it works great and feels like a new clutch. I did this on my 2001 Yamaha R1. I highly recommend it. The work is a lot easier than you think.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

I am a diesel engineer by profession. My 62 year old friend who has no mechanical bones in his body put this hitch on my bike. I was very surprised at how easy it was. I have a 2002 Yamaha R1 it was about $7000 done with the engine. My motorcycle puts 244 hp on the rear wheel. After 50 miles on the bike with the new clutch I got to the 8.6 quarter mile distance, the clutch was much better than the factory clutch. Now I'm curious, how will the clutch perform in my bike's drag racing environment?

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • A few little things

The included clutch spring may not be enough

I installed a new clutch on a 2002 R1, it was very easy and the kit had the plates removed and the 'wire' holding the original one design had. What annoyed me a little was that I had everything assembled and the clutch slipped from 7000 rpm. It turns out that the diaphragm spring is not strong enough. So I removed the rear end and installed a factory spring which cost me the clutch cover gaskets. When I did that, the clutch didn't slip. I rode the bike over 300 miles and it was great. I would…

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember
