Disappointed, looks good in the picture, the plate that supports the rust is black (as seen in the picture), I get it silver. The quality of the product is really bad. I will not recommend it.

Great addition to my R56 grille. I had to paint the receiver plate black, the color of the bare metal shimmered through the grille, destroying the illusion of a floating emblem. Also put some fixative on the nits, they will get stuck.

Model S is very good! It would have been better if the metal plate behind the grille was black (I had to paint it) and also the screw is too long and I had to cut it off a bit so it doesn't touch my radiator (which it did), which said , after installing S looks fine.

Pinching the plastic mesh is a bit of a concern as I wasn't sure how tight it would be. I've seen other people with them turn sideways because they weren't tight enough, but apparently they're easy to change. It would be nice if it looked more like a clip or if it had grooves on the back to better stay in place. Overall a good buy.

looks great, but I had to bend (dog-ear) both ends of the rear mounting plate with pliers so that it doesn't spin and fall off when moving. But it was easy as it's quite a thin metal. That being said I would recommend this if you have a Cooper S and are looking for a nice 'S' for your grill. Good luck to all.

I installed this on a '06 R53. I missed that on the front end. I painted the threaded rod and back plate black but it only took a few minutes. I would also recommend putting a drop of Loctite on the threaded rod. It might not have been necessary, but I didn't want to risk dropping it. So far it's looking good and after about 200 miles it hasn't moved at all.

The product didn't even last a year - the red insert isn't painted, it's a plastic insert that fell out. no When I asked for a new one I was told it had been a while since I placed my order and was offered half a new one - no, if you claim your product is weatherproof, it better be weatherproof to be. my money.
