I installed this on a '06 R53. I missed that on the front end. I painted the threaded rod and back plate black but it only took a few minutes. I would also recommend putting a drop of Loctite on the threaded rod. It might not have been necessary, but I didn't want to risk dropping it. So far it's looking good and after about 200 miles it hasn't moved at all.
