The OUTXE neck reading lamp is a useful tool. It's comfortable, even for my petite neck. The lights are bright and each side is individually adjustable. I use it when I sew on my machine as I can shine the light directly onto the needle. I also use it in the same way for hand sewing. It's also great for walking as I can direct the light in front of me and my hands are free. Once I travel again I'm sure it will come in handy when reading on the plane.

Despite adequate lighting and exceptional battery life, the idea that the touchpad is the right control for it is ridiculous! He's too sensitive. If you accidentally touch the stems, this side will change color. Very frustrating. Also, each side is independent! It would be better if every side touch would change the color of BOTH sides! Who wants "yellow" on the left and "blue" on the right? This device WORKS, but I would prefer a dimmer to a color switch, and I would prefer a "clicker" switch…

This was a complete rip off. I should have listened to other reviews and dropped this crap. It does NOT shine brightly like the seller claims. I did a "long touch" as suggested - it made no difference. I actually have to take it off and look at the light to see if it's on, the lights are so dim. It is bulky and very inconvenient to carry. The thick piece on my neck got hot and I was afraid it would melt, so I had to turn it off and let it cool. Do yourself a favor and get another neck light.

When I plug in the device to charge, the light is red. When the green light comes on, I try to turn it on. It doesn't turn on, I turn it back on and the indicator goes red again. The first charge took almost 2 days. When it finally turned on, it was awesome. It's just uncomfortable in the neck. The brightness of the lamps is enough - you just need to turn on the light. On the back of the reading lamp is a tiny, almost invisible button that needs to be pressed to turn on the light. Each bulb must be moved or pressed separately to make the light glow. If you don't know this beforehand, it will take you forever to figure it out. I bought this particular flashlight with no comparison purchases because CrazySockLady recommended it on her podcast as the one she uses. My first impression was "It's huge" (note my photo of this item compared to a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet). Because of the size, it looks a bit bulky.
