💧 Overbest CRF-950Z Water Filter: Powerful Replacement for Pur Pitchers and Dispensers (3 Pack) Review

I bought these before branded items existed. I wouldn't buy them again just because they don't seem to last as long. I switch to this brand more often and the price difference is not enough to justify buying this generic.

Amazing! The water filter is faster than the brand. I recommend this product to all my family, friends and neighbors. My water tastes like water! I'm a foreigner, so you probably won't understand me when I say "water from this filter tastes like real water". Clean, clean, long life.

I ordered them because they were recommended to me when I bought 2 PUR DS1800Z canisters and they don't work with them. They are not open at the bottom to filter the water. Now I opened them up to replace them and am stuck with something I can't use. Make sure you check the model you need a refill for and don't take Revain's recommendations at face value.

These filters are a waste of money and do not filter the water in the jug at all, water seeps around the rubber seal. It's not that the filter doesn't fit snugly, it's so tight it's almost impossible to remove once installed. The filters are also made in China, doesn't that make you feel safer?

There is a noticeable difference in the taste of my water when I replace branded filters with these imitations. I've had about 2 glasses of water from them and that's about all I can take before immediately reverting to more expensive branded filters. With them, it's no different than drinking clean tap water, eliminating the need to filter your tap water in the first place. If I hadn't opened and used them I would have asked for a refund. It was an expensive lesson.

As we all know, the cost of replacing water purifiers seems to have skyrocketed in recent months (due to global resource shortages I believe). So I thought I'd try a much cheaper alternative, although I had my doubts. One thing I've noticed about my tap water is a pretty strong chlorine taste.
