I would recommend this product to others as it folds, locks, comes with a tow pin and securely holds bikes (road and mountain) for the price. This is a very convenient, reliable and durable bike carrier. I have 2 e-bikes that weigh about 50 pounds each (without batteries) and they hold up great. Locks are great anti-theft devices, and you can run to the store or even stay home for a while knowing they won't be stolen. The tires could also not be removed with a snap-in frame bracket, since the wheel is then practically immobile with the wheel guard. It's definitely high quality. I opted for the more expensive version with a lockable ratchet. It's a little looser than I'd like and doesn't seem entirely tight. But it stays in place and doesn't look like it's going to fall out of my hitch anytime soon. I've used it many times to carry two bikes, no complaints about its ability to carry one bike. We just assembled this bike rack and it's really great. Straight out of the gate, however, the clutch transmission bushing wasn't in the pits. I'm not sure if this was mentioned anywhere, but I didn't see it until the instructions said "optional". If I had overlooked this small detail; my mistake. but if not then it should be mentioned that the adapter sleeve is not included as that would be nice to know and I would attach it before we take all the parts out of the box.
