I like the shape - wide seats on the sides for the tall ones.

I love the shape - wide siderooms for big heads. USB ports are also great as they power and charge so many things. However, the cable surge connectors did not work properly. My satellite receiver could not receive a signal that it could decode when connected to this device. Not very large; Protecting the cable from surges on the same device as the home theater electronics is probably not the best idea. Edited January 19, 2018 Oviitech was great when they found out I had an issue with the surgeโ€ฆ

It's nice but not cheap

Overall good value for money but sometimes the cable length doesn't make it better when it's so long. What are you doing with all that thick, naughty wire? If you know, tell the others. However, I bought (2) of these and they worked fine. But I wish the cables were shorter.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Device failed to protect against surges

Thunderstorm passed and phone/DSL line came up - The DSL line used the input/output surge protector correctly, but it let high voltage through to fry my network card and hard drive to delete . I do not recommend.

Surge protector with 12 outlets, including 6 outlets spaced

The reviews here combine several different extension cords into one test basket. It's useless. I bought the version listed in the title of this review. I have a lot of power supplies so this was a great option for that. forks. After plugging bulky power supplies into the outer forks, most of the inner rows of connectors partially blocked things from being plugged into the middle row. , in an organized way.

Ideal if it suits your service needs.

Works great. Make sure you can hide it as it's very large which maximizes utility but aesthetically it's terrible. We have it behind our entertainment center and another one in my office. The 90 degree connector is also an absolute winner, allowing us to get the center a lot closer to the wall. The offset connector and USB orientation also made it ideal for computers and printers with large cartridges. I almost ordered a third one to use elsewhere in our home but decided to wait to see howโ€ฆ

Love it Accessories and consumables

I used it as an extension cord to connect all the electronics connected to my TV. Each outlet is well spaced and I can easily plug in adapters without using an extra extension cord. Very convenient.

Bad design! on power strips and surge protectors

I wanted to mount this power supply on the wall with all the cables off the floor. I couldn't find a wall anchor screw with a head thin enough to fit the countersunk mounting holes. The notch is not deep enough for a conventional screw head. If you don't mount it then this extension will probably work, I can't say for sure. I bought a power strip from APC which was perfect for my purpose.

Lots of space, works great

I bought this to replace an aging power strip and it's much better. The cord is long enough to put behind a computer desk. There are many ways to connect everything from my printer to my computer itself, as well as a lamp. I also like USB ports so I can charge my iPhone and iPad without using ports on my computer. Overall it's great and efficient and I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice thin power strip with well spaced outlets

I decided to install a power strip under my desk to keep the cords out. Pros: 1) The device is fairly flat so I never stumble when mounting it under my desk. 2) There is a row of 6 sockets, well spaced for bulkier plugs (like Apple chargers and other power adapters). Cons: A) The mounting holes are very shallow so you have to use very small pan head screws - this is a very minor negative and doesn't really affect use but thought I'd mention it.
