make it quieter in vacuum cleaners and floor care

Reduces exhaust noise by at least half. The engine noise was not reduced because it was not designed for it. In other reviews I think people complain about engine noise. It is very low, as intended by the internal silencer. The device is quieter than many household portable vacuum cleaners.

A piece of pipe in an unmarked plastic bag.

Mufflers usually have baffles. The whole thing is a straight piece of pipe that arrived in a plastic bag with no markings. Supplier and manufacturer are not specified. You can look right through the tube. Nothing drowns out every tone. Don't waste your time and money on this article.

This piece reduces the noise level by at least 3dB

I used it for outdoor installation. My vacuum cleaner is very noisy in front of the house and I wanted to do something good for the neighbors. He does exactly what he is supposed to. I am very happy. By the way, I read the review of a person who used it for an internal install and said he didn't do anything. When installed indoors, the exhaust fumes from the vacuum cleaner are not the biggest source of noise. This is an engine. An exhaust silencer does not reduce engine noise.

It does its job - jets

I love that it muffles the noise of the vacuum cleaner motor when it's in our garage. But it doesn't dampen it enough. However, since the muffler shouldn't cause any back pressure that could overload the engine, it's only as good as it needs to be. The muffler consists of a foam rubber tube that lines the inside wall of a PVC cylinder. I calculated generously that this almost halves the exhaust noise. Works well. Not great but good.

part as expected. Make it a little quieter. Mainly muffles the sound of the air exiting the unit. The new vacuum cleaner is much quieter than the old one. This muffler doesn't seem to change the sound of the vacuum cleaner itself. It only helps with the sound of air coming out of the device. Please note that you have to order an adapter kit for this.
