Works best in Computers & Accessories category

I plugged it in and restarted it and my Mid 2010 Mac Pro with 2 x 2.4 quad-core Intel Xeon processors recognized it. Everything is OK. Be sure to follow the recommended order when inserting the memory into the slots, especially when combining it with other memory cards.

Saved me from buying a new computer

I upgraded my Mac Pro to the new Maverick OS from early 2009 and it slowed my computer down so much I almost replaced it for what I thought , the 2009 model is not fast enough for today 's technology . I installed 16GB of RAM and now my computer is lightning fast. I'm a photographer, I often use Photoshop, Lightroom and Indesign among other programs at the same time and my computer now handles it without any problems. I strongly recommend upgrading your RAM before buying a new computer.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Nothing to add as long as it works

I bought this memory to speed up a 2009 Mac Pro. Installation was easy. Unfortunately, the Mac Pro doesn't run any faster, but that's because it's an overpriced junk, not storage. I don't understand why anyone would buy a Mac. I inherited this crappy box and tried to speed it up with my computer. Enough complained. Need storage? You can't go wrong with OWC.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
