UPDATE: After returning the product and getting a replacement, the replacement works fine. - Original Review - Tried to put them in each install slot the iMac 27" 2017 did not turn on during installation. Came back and tried a replacement again believing the problem was unique to that particular set. Great storage for 2017 iMac 5K with 8GB Apple RAM. I added 32GB to two empty slots and rebooted. 40 GB RAM is visible and there is no problem to see RAM and total size. Like some others I have found that after installing this OWC RAM it does not work with standard Apple RAM modules. They work great when installed individually (in the same slots the original Apple modules were installed in), but once you add Apple RAM to the empty slots, you get nothing but a blank screen.
