What can I say except that it's a waste of money. Advertisements show they fly at least five feet. The one we received rose just six inches off the ground, even after an overnight charge. We cleaned out the living room but it still flew sideways and crashed into the wall. After the fifth flight, he hit the wall again and broke off a piece of the propeller handle. Wouldn't buy this again.

Didn't take 24 hours

My daughter saved money for it. She loves owls and was in seventh heaven when she finally got $20. Target had them for $50 and Revain was $20, so we bought them here. When it first flew, it hit my daughter's blanket and fell. Now the top is no longer connected to the bottom. She still makes sounds and works with her eyes but I don't know how to assemble the body so the owl can fly again. Didn't even last 24 hours. I would send it back but my daughter would be devastated. I hate how cheap toys…

Very cute gift suitable for baby electronics

We got this as a gift and it's a really cool flying toy, just make sure it's fully charged before trying it or it won't fly. Very comparable to hatch toys but this one is much better and not disruptive. It encourages parenting and lets kids know what it takes with its color-changing eyes. It really gets kids thinking about feelings. It comes with instructions so kids can read what each eye color means and how to help their owl. The kit comes with a charging station and a cable to connect to a…

Girls aged 5 and 3 squealed with delight when they looked at this interactive toy that is ready to play. You like eye color. So far they couldn't make the owl fly, but they couldn't get enough of this toy. The owl is smaller than I imagined and there are so many languages mixed in the user manual that it is difficult to find the English part. I like how it's already charged up a bit. But it's hard to burp (when the eyes are green), but he sings and eats and sleeps and is very cute! I can't wait

Cons
  • Modern

I was very skeptical about this purchase because the reviews were terrible, in general the toy is excellent. No issues with flight, self-decapitation, or malfunctions. I've seen some reviews that say it won't fly once charged, and the instructions specifically state that it must be charged from a USB port to a computer, never plugged into a USB box. I think this will also give it a lot of power and it just needs to be charged at less capacity, so I think others might have issues, read the…

Got a warehouse deal

This is a cute little owl I got in the warehouse deal. According to the warehouse, it had some cosmetic damage, but as usual, it didn't have a scratch. The food that was supposed to come with it was missing, so we won't be using that part. I hope that this does not affect the application success. I haven't given it to my kids yet. I pulled it out, it's a bit startling when an owl pops out for the first time to try to fly. I've read enough reviews to know better and was far behind so it wasn't…

Owl fell from the sky when a piece broke off midair/in-flight

Bought this about a month ago but gave it to my daughter for her birthday a few days ago - it was her #1 - Birthday gift to choose from! She was thrilled when she got it and immediately loved all of its sounds, light up eyes etc! The next day she flew for the first time and was so excited! A few minutes later she let it fly again and then there was a strange noise in the air in the middle of the room and a small piece of plastic flew to the ground and the toy fell to the ground. It turned out…

Impressive but a bit intense!

We recently received the Owleez in white and my kids (ages 5 and 7) were immediately drawn to its cute looks and many interactive features. Thankfully, it charged fairly quickly with the included USB cable. I like that the cord is attached to the jack so kids can't lose it. At first it reminded me of one of the fingerling toys due to the interaction, care, and sounds, but the Owleez features are superior to other toys we've tried. The color changing eyes and included instructions make it easy…
