🐹 Oxbow Animal Health POOF! Chinchilla Dust Bath: A 2.5 Pound Jar for Optimal Pet Hygiene and Grooming Review

Our 6 month old hamster was rolling around in this dust and couldn't get it out of his fur. She dies two days later. I bought Oxbow BC I thought it was the best brand. Fatal mistake and my children in tears. We literally saw her choke in the dust of her final minutes.

So the old arm should match all products. I have chinchilla food and they love it but the dust is so gritty. It's not flimsy and flimsy like my chinchilla likes, it's thicker and grainy and she doesn't like it that much. She only rolls 1 and then expires. The blue beauty is the only one she rides in and it's almost impossible to get her out! I prefer fine dust like hers, this one is too grainy for her.

my chinchillas (3) love this product, they go crazy every time they see me take out the bath tub with this dust, their hair sees a lot better looking than the kaylee product i used before is everywhere because it is very good and i need to clean the room more often but their machine has improved a lot since the brand change, i plan to buy another container, because I'm very close. To top it off, very happy Chins and a very happy customer

UPDATE 2018: This is downright false advertising. The photo clearly shows "Blue Cloud", but it's NOT Blue Cloud, its blue beauty, with chemicals/ingredients added to "cut" the quality of "Clear" for profit, period. Not COOL OxBow your name no longer stands for quality but with false advertising and misrepresentation, generally the best dust bath I have found. I have 3 chinchillas and like most chinchillas they love baths. I have used every brand I could find at the pet store but saw this one and decided to give it a try as I know Oxbow is the recommended brand for all other chinchillas. It seems to stick to her fur better and my white mosaic is even lighter than before. Bonus: It costs less than another brand I bought from the store, so I will definitely buy it again. Oxbow is pretty much the label for most of the products I buy for my chin. My vet (who saved two chins for me and "fixed" both of my boys), who I fully trust, highly recommended this brand as a food source because it's pure, safe, and high quality.
