From night to day: sports

This little flashlight is amazing. If you like night driving, this is the light you need. At its lowest setting it's still brighter than any headlight we currently have. You only get about 3 hours on high settings, 12+ on low settings.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Fits

Insanely perfect light

Fits my dirt bike as the perfect headlight by attaching to the top of the license plate triangle. It's more than bright enough, very small, and I have an external battery on my plugs. If you need a light for your bike, this is it.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great flashlight for 24 hour races

I bought this flashlight for a 24 hour off-road team race in Alabama. I drove two hours at night and the light worked perfectly. I drove at dusk in the morning and when I went into the forest the light was perfect. Overall ride time was 4 hours in bright light, and the battery was still there.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Best headlamp - cycling

Love this light. Plenty of light for cycling, even with low beam. This is one of the few high lumen lights that can last more than 2 hours. Endurance even with high beam. The helmet is light and you can take a spare battery with you if you want. But a long exposure should not require this. Some drivers don't want to disconnect the battery from the flashlight, but you don't get the endurance with a small battery built into the flashlight. This Oxbow Light is the bomb.

Pros
  • Consistent test results

Super bright and powerful battery!

Just got mine, bought it for a 25 hour mountain bike race. I installed it on my helmet. I also had a 1200 brand light on the steering wheel. Despite having the same nominal lumens, the Oxbow was much brighter. He definitely overpowered the light from The Handlebar. Also, it took a lot longer. I actually got to the point where I ran into another writer and they both had their lights out, my handlebar light went out but the oxbow was just as bright as it was at the start of that lap. I was able…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Minor repair

Bright, with a good radiation pattern, looks well built.

Received today. I already have a Magicshine mj872 with 1600 lumens. I wanted something smaller with a GoPro helmet mount so I ordered an old one. Started both tonight and still love them. Oxbow - a denser beam and slightly brighter, will be a great complement to the magical glow on the grid. The construction looks solid. I'll report back after the trip. ***Trip Report*** I still love the light, bright and good beam. With my old light (flooding) on the bars and oxbow on my helmet you're done. I…
