Just got mine, bought it for a 25 hour mountain bike race. I installed it on my helmet. I also had a 1200 brand light on the steering wheel. Despite having the same nominal lumens, the Oxbow was much brighter. He definitely overpowered the light from The Handlebar. Also, it took a lot longer. I actually got to the point where I ran into another writer and they both had their lights out, my handlebar light went out but the oxbow was just as bright as it was at the start of that lap. I was able to ride about 20 feet behind her and provide enough life for me and her to return to the start line where other lights were waiting for us. Although I only used it that night I was definitely very impressed with how bright it was and how long this battery lasted.
