Easy to install, works great and I've used them about a dozen times. I've left them on since I've had them and they haven't rusted yet. The only downside is that the bracket was missing one of the washers, but I used a loose one from my garage and it worked fine.

These J-Bars are good quality, very strong and hold my kayaks with no problems. They fit my Chevy Trailblazer easily. The only issue I had was that the tension knobs on the underside of the J-Rods would come loose from time to time so I put a nylon lock nut on them and now they won't come off. lose more.

These things are very good. My brother and I bought huge 12ft kayaks and while he went down the expensive route to get his mounts I decided to go a little cheaper at Revain. They hold their shape very well and are very durable. I still see no difference between mine and his; except my mounts are easier to attach to the SUV, which is nice. So far I am very happy with my purchase!

These roof bars aren't bad for the price but you get what you pay for. I installed mine last week and the galvanized parts are already showing red rust (OxGord has to send some parts to my lab for salt spray testing, lol). The other issue is that the hole in the clamp mechanism is very narrow and doesn't fit snugly into the wider/flatter crossbars of the roof rack like on my Nissan Rogue (see picture which also shows rust). These are good shelves and well made. However, they are not universal carriers for kayaks. I have 2 very common Dolphin Bali 10s that sit on top kayaks. These racks are not capable of holding these particular kayaks, even close. They are not wide enough for the kayak not to sit on cushions. Instead, they sit on top of the medal's frame. Disappointed, had to go back.

You get what you pay for. For the price this is a great buy. But I have my own concerns about reliability and quality. I use it but am not 100% sure yet. I have Yakima round bars for the roof rack. The part that attaches to your rack is round and even when fully tightened the bars move. I had to make Jerry my own adapter so he could tighten without shifting or twisting.
