They work - I think: kayak, canoe and SUP racks
You get what you pay for. For the price this is a great buy. But I have my own concerns about reliability and quality. I use it but am not 100% sure yet. I have Yakima round bars for the roof rack. The part that attaches to your rack is round and even when fully tightened the bars move. I had to make Jerry my own adapter so he could tighten without shifting or twisting. Also, knobs that need tightening tend to come loose, I have to check them frequently to retighten and make sure they're secure.
